Returning Students Welcome back to GCC! We are here to support your return. Returning to college is a big step—and you don’t have to take it alone. Returning learners receive personalized outreach and one-on-one support from dedicated Success Coaches who can help you navigate every part of coming back to school—at your pace, on your terms. Whether you stepped away for a semester or several years, we’re excited to help you restart your academic journey and move closer to your goals. Your First Steps Back to GCC 1. Apply for Readmission If you’ve been away for one semester or more and left in good academic standing, complete the free application for readmission. Apply Online Submit your official high school (or equivalent) transcript to admission@gcc.mass.edu Previously attended another college? Have your official transcripts send electronically to admission@gcc.mass.edu If you left GCC on academic warning, academic probation, or were academically suspended or dismissed, please contact Carter McClintock, mcclintock@gcc.mass.edu. Most students hear back within 3–5 business days after completing all required steps. 2.
