• Peer Tutoring<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0offers students the opportunity to look at\u00a0how they learn<\/em>. Students enrolled in any GCC course are welcome to meet with peer tutors in the fall and spring semesters.\u00a0 Tutoring is also available by appointment during the January intersession and summer sessions.\u00a0 In tutoring sessions, students explore ways to study and problem-solve, and they apply these strategies to specific course assignments. Students meet individually with tutors in the Peer Tutoring space on the\u00a04th floor of the Core.\u00a0<\/strong>In many introductory math and English courses, peer tutors assist students in the classroom.<\/li>\n
• Peer Mentors<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0give students\u00a0hands-on support\u00a0as they\u00a0explore majors\u00a0and build individual\u00a0academic and career plans.\u00a0\u00a0Peer Mentors are students who have been at GCC for at least two semesters. They can offer\u00a0advice on what it\u2019s like to be a student here\u00a0and\u00a0how to make the most your time at GCC!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
