Pell Grant eligibility depends upon the information provided by a student and their family on the FAFSA. If you’re eligible for a Federal Pell grant, the amount you’ll receive is based on enrollment status. Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 credit hours in an eligible program.

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federally funded, campus-based grant for students with exceptional financial need. Unlike the Pell Grant, FSEOG awards depend on several factors, including:

Your level of financial need

The amount of other financial aid you receive

The availability of FSEOG funds at Greenfield Community College

Because FSEOG funds are limited, awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Applying for financial aid as early as possible increases your chance of being considered. Even if you are eligible, you may not receive an FSEOG award if funds for the academic year have already been exhausted.

Massachusetts State Grants

Massachusetts provides its residents in degree-seeking programs with funding through dozens of programs in the form of grants, scholarships and waivers.
