Transfer Agreements

Transfer agreements—also known as articulation agreements—are one of the main ways students transfer from GCC to four-year schools. In addition to providing a guide to what classes you need to take at GCC, these agreements also guarantee acceptance into the associated four-year degree program after you finish your GCC degree.

Agreements are NOT required to transfer. Although a formal agreement guarantees acceptance, students can absolutely be accepted to other schools and programs that GCC does not have a specific agreement with. Contact the Transfer Office today to learn more about these traditional transfer options.

Many of these agreements are a part of the statewide MassTransfer program between the Massachusetts community colleges, state universities and UMass campuses.

Below is a sample of some of the transfer agreements GCC has with four-year schools based on intended bachelor's degree. This is not a complete list. Please check with the GCC transfer office for the most up-to-date and accurate information on transfer agreements.
